The Maple Table

This table is made from a beautiful Ontario Hard Maple slab. The wood was salvaged from the clients childhood front yard.

The bark inclusions have been epoxy saturated with a light brown translucent epoxy. All voids and cracks have been filled with light brown translucent epoxy.

The table includes six bow ties that were made from the same wood slab. It also has one maple syrup tap that plugged to match while remaining visible.

All steel legs and c-channels fully recessed and secured using Murakoshi fasteners and threaded inserts.

The table has been finished with multiple coats of an oil/wax finish.
